Description
The University of Chicago Department of Statisticsinvites applications for the position of William H. Kruskal Instructor. We seek recent or expected Ph.D. graduates doing advanced research with a connection to applied mathematics, computational mathematics, or machine learning. Kruskal Instructor responsibilities include engagement in independent research and teaching up to three quarter-long courses per year. The appointment is for a term of up to three years.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Completion of all requirements for the Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field by the time of hire.
Preferred qualifications: research interests related to those of faculty in the Committee on Computational and Applied Mathematics https://cam.uchicago.edu/people/#faculty.
