SUMMARY

Bering Global Solutions, LLC (BGS), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Warehouse Specialist/ Journeyman for a project at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The ideal candidate will provide mission critical communications, infrastructure upgrade and improve property management processes across the program.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

• Job is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to various temperatures, material handling equipment, shipping boxes and freight, pallets, etc.
• Use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system is required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will provide mission critical communications, infrastructure upgrade and improve property management processes across the program

• Required Two (2) year of warehouse, fulfillment center, or distribution center experience; or at least 30 college credit hours.
• Critical attention to detail

Preferred

• Forklift Experience

DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to various temperatures, material handling equipment, shipping boxes and freight, pallets, etc. Use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system is required. Safety shoes and protection mandatory.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
