Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Vulnerability Engineer

As a Vulnerability Engineer, you will:
Innova has a need for an experienced Vulnerability Engineer (Mid to Senior level, depending on experience) with a solid track record of completing assignments in a high volume, dynamic environment.
The primary role is to organize and coordinate vulnerability remediation with application and infrastructure teams across the enterprise. As a VSPM (Vulnerability and Security Patch Management) Security Team member, you are responsible for validating and remediating security issues identified and reported by Vulnerability Scan Systems.
Activities include working with Windows endpoints, analyzing and reporting using ServiceNow, proposing remediation solutions, and as appropriate, applying software updates and fixes according to best practices and NIST Framework standards.
- Self-starter that makes daily accomplishments and moves the project forward.
- Strong communication and data analysis skills. The work involves coordinating with device owners and analyzing ServiceNow data to determine what needs remediating.
- Candidate must possess strong teamwork, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Work within and across teams to understand and document requirements, vulnerabilities, and solutions.
- Collaborates with team member, stakeholders, and others to understand issues / problems and implement sound technical solutions.
- Ability to balance workloads, skill sets, technical knowledge, and criticality of the tasks.
- Responsible and accountable for the on-time completion of tasks and projects, demonstrating a commitment to meet established deadlines and priorities.
The Ideal Candidate will have : -
- Assess and coordinate VSPM Team response to reported Windows vulnerabilities.
- Validate vulnerability findings reported from scanning systems.
- Apply Windows updates.
- Review batch and bash scripts as needed.
- Utilize Azure DevOps to deploy updates.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science, Business, or related discipline preferred Or relevant and demonstrated experience.
- Microsoft certification (MCSE or MCSA) preferred.
Skills and Qualifications: - ServiceNow and/or Rapid7 InsightVM reporting.
- Excel analysis and tracking of reported vulnerabilities.
- Strong Communications and Organizational Skills within team and across the enterprise.
- Be comfortable using, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Microsoft operating systems. Experience with Virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Technically strong on Windows OS Security, Policies, Standards and SDKs.
- Follow Change Management processes and procedures.
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and Certificates and experience in updating certificates.
- PowerShell, and Python knowledge.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: USD- 93,000 - USD - 109,000 Per Year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
