Job Summary
Primary duties include setting priorities, implementing projects, collecting and maintaining program data, coordinating available resources, communicating and collaborating with team members within and outside the university system, oversight and planning for material and space needs for EITP calendar of events and organizing and implementing projects and associated timelines.
Duties & Responsibilities

Planning, oversight & coordination of EITP Activities

• Develops systematic approach and maintains efficient and effective daily workflow in the main (central) office for the Early Intervention Training Program (EITP).

• Administratively responsible for implementing program priorities, setting goals and objectives for main (central) office of the Early Intervention Training Program.

• Responsible for data collection, maintenance, and basic analysis related to EITP professional development events, interpreter testing, video credit reviews, and family outcomes surveys.

• Prepare and submit reports (daily, quarterly or annually) to the Program Director and/or funding agent, as assigned.

• Serves as an integral part of the decision-making process and responsible to exercise independent judgment within activities of EITP.

• Recommends and implements changes based on continual program evaluations. Resolves any existing program challenges or barriers.

Resource coordination and management

• Manages human and material resources, maintains appropriate records, and communicates effectively.

• Maintains supply inventory for the needs of staff, students, and contractors within EITP.

• Coordinates and maintains reproduction and delivery schedule for EITP resources and materials.

• Processes travel, purchasing and various activities in travel, purchasing and expense system, including reimbursements, honoraria, etc.

Collaboration and personnel oversight and support

• Serves as a resource person, referral agent and creates links and acts as a liaison to other campus and community groups, expanding internal and external program development.

• Provides leadership, communicates commitment and sets expectations for staff, students and subcontractors.

• Assists in coordination of and participates in scheduled team, collaboration meetings and conference planning.

• Participates in recruiting and selecting of staff members, students and appraising staff and student performance.

• Oversees and reviews work for main (central) office team members, including students.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Demonstrated expertise with standard office technology (Microsoft Office suite), including Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

• 3 years demonstrated project management/coordination experience, data collection and maintenance, human resources and supervisory experience, including demonstrated experience in decision-making demanding discretion and independent judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with purchasing, travel and contracts within a university setting, demonstrated experience with basic data analysis, experience with early intervention/early childhood systems.

• Working knowledge of the university system for billing, travel reimbursement, supply ordering.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience managing multiple tasks with varying timelines, experience supporting/supervising hourly staff and students, demonstrated expertise with standard office technology (Microsoft Office suite), survey tools.

• Demonstrated ability in decision-making, strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal relationship skills, including the ability to interact effectively with team members and university staff, attention to detail, adaptability, and dependability.

Appointment Information

This is a 100% full-time Visiting Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is January 16, 2025. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,000-80,000.
