This is a hybrid position primarily based in Louisville, KY. The Tax Adjustment Analyst role is responsible for the daily and timely processing of withholding and income adjustments to shareholder accounts. Verifies adjustment processing and updates to financial tax files daily. The role is also responsible for the review of Cost Basis shareholder data and research inquires involving Cost Basis data and tax reporting data.

Key Accountabilities:

• Processes tax refunds in accordance with IRS regulations.

• Generates and mails corrected, duplicate and one-off original tax forms for IRS filings for prior year and current year.

• Research and review of Cost Basis shareholder detail and process updates as required.

• Research and review of all inquiries related to tax withholding, tax reporting and Cost Basis.

• Processes updates to shareholder certification and tax reporting details based upon client instructions.

• Adheres to guidelines of Client Service Agreements and IRS tax regulations.

• Ensures the timely and accurate resolution of issues or discrepancies.

• Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Required:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Understanding of IRS/State Agency guidelines and deadlines.

Essential computer skills, specifically Excel.

Preferably 2 years of higher education and 2 years Transfer Agent knowledge and experience
