Job Title: Systems Engineer - Email and Endpoint Security

Location: Charlotte, NC

About the Role:

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Lead or participate in moderately complex projects, including routing changes for over 900 SaaS providers.
• Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for email and endpoint security solutions.
• Review and correlate system logs, conduct extensive research, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 4+ years of experience in a large Production Messaging environment, with expertise in SMTP configuration/connectivity, mail flow, DNS, MX, DKIM, and SPF.
• 1 year of hands-on experience with Proofpoint Hybrid (POD and Sentrions).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Email Security applications such as Proofpoint, M365 Defender, FireEye, and DLP.
• Proficiency with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Nagios, and Splunk.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Experience with enterprise change and incident management processes, security policies, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology, Jira, and Product Model.
• Experience working in a financial institution and understanding of regulatory requirements.
