RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Integration Software Engineer (Python/Java/DevOps) in Holyoke, MA.Summary:The IT Integration Engineer Consultant will be responsible for the development and maintenance of application integrations between configuration management database (CMDB), IT applications and platform tools using APIs and custom integrations.Primary Responsibilities:- Systems Integration Software Engineer will identify the integration needs between applications and documenting them
- Work with SMEs to design the integrations between systems to meet the requirements
- Troubleshoot issues by identifying root cause and develop a plan for problem resolution; Identify and re-mediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner
- Design, program, implement code, test, install and configure applications
- As a Systems Integration Software Engineer, you will work in a team environment to support user and other technical staff
- Learn internal business processes and adhere to ISO-NE software and change management and IT standards
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-4 years of experience in software development and integration
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages
- Experience with GraphQL, RESTful APIs and web services
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience working with relational database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Basic understanding of AWS cloud platform
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of agile development methodology
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Excellent communication skills and team player
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
