Job Description

As a Systems Integration/Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. Your role will involve synthesizing customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards.
• Solve hardware/software interface problems and define input/output parameters.
• Ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
• Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability.
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
• Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

Specific Role for Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 2:

• Generate test plans and procedures.
• Execute and report on ground tests and flight tests.
• Manage missile build and integration activities as the single point of contact responsible for test asset configuration, movement, and testing.
• Support both on-site and off-site testing, including trips to Huntsville, AL, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM, and Eglin AFB, FL.
• Potentially support missile DVTs and launcher integration efforts.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Active secret clearance preferred; willing to consider candidates with previously held active clearances. Interim clearance required prior to start.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience writing technical test documentation, executing tests, verifying performance related to requirements, and writing test reports.
