The Global Partnerships & Content team works with partners across music, entertainment, creators, sports, community leaders and nonprofits to support the product and partnerships efforts across the family of apps. The team is focused on helping build and grow innovative and meaningful content and community engagement experiences and businesses that deliver sustainable value for our partners in the form of product adoption, fan engagement, and innovation. The team works on a wide range of product and platform initiatives, including: Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Reality Labs, and Threads. The team also provides horizontal support across these areas for deals, content strategy and planning, audience development, product marketing, creative strategy, scaled outreach, and company-wide efforts like cultural relevance, brand marketing, editorial, and product go-to-market strategies.The Music Artists Partnerships team is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to initiate, execute, and scale partnerships with emerging artists. This role is an important part of the Music Artists Partnerships team, and this individual will work with both internal and external stakeholders to implement strategic partnerships plans and programs to engage emerging artists and ensure their success across Meta's platforms.This role requires the experience combining high levels of strategic thought with execution. This person will have demonstrated the ability to adapt to changing priorities and projects and is capable of handling all elements of partner management, from maintaining high-profile relationships to supporting day-to-day operations, such as fielding and prioritizing partner requests, troubleshooting partner issues, and using analytics to improve partner performance.
Strategic Partner Manager, Emerging Music Artist Partnerships Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, track, and iterate emerging artist programs to meet the needs of the artist community and drive product adoption, retention, and innovation tied to specific company goals.
- Collaborate with partners to identify and execute innovative partnerships across Meta's platforms. Including but not limited to marketing, editorial, and product go-to-market moments.
- Use data and artists' insights across to drive strategic decision-making, provide best practices and guide product adoption.
- Identify and track industry trends, key artist moments, and culturally relevant music events to help to drive the team's strategic approach to these opportunities.
- Handle operational tasks, escalate product issues and feedback, and support partner troubleshooting to completion.
- Support the broader Artist Partnerships team in helping to develop the artist pipeline and emerging artists across various management rosters.
- Work closely with Partnerships colleagues to coordinate on key industry opportunities (e.g. around key events, award shows, product launches, etc.).
- Support the creation of product education and partner best practices materials.
- Manage time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a diverse range of stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree.
- 6+ years of experience working with music artists across management, label, platform partnerships or equivalent.
- Program Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working across multiple teams, initiating and nurturing collaboration to achieve both team and company goals
- Experience creating strategies around complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans, with an added focus on using data to make decisions.
- Experience working across all levels of management, both internally and externally.
- Experience working with and advocating for Emerging Artists with proven success in supporting these artists' careers.
- Demonstrated experience with prioritization and focus, as well as proven relationship building skills and effective communication.

$105,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
