The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

JOB INPUTS

  • Coordinate and manage visibility and communication between manufacturers, upfit vendors, driveaway vendors, onboarding/staging partners, and both internal and external clients regarding the status of vehicles and equipment from order through final delivery.
  • Research the status of vehicles with manufacturers and/or upfitters using work buckets, OEM/vendor websites, and reporting tools to ensure targeted dates are met.
  • Proactively identify potential delays in production, upfitting/onboarding, and shipping by analyzing data from the status system, vendor communications, and reporting tools.
  • Analyze and spot-check invoices from vendors, upfitters, and transport companies to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Set up and manage transportation for the last mile of vehicle deliveries.
  • Communicate all delays that affect the successful delivery based on normal order-to-delivery timelines to internal stakeholders (Account Management, Client Administration, Account Development Representatives, Sales Managers) and clients.
  • Manage and communicate listings of delayed vehicles via Business Objects reporting on a weekly basis to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Upload data and maintain the validity in the status system by adding relevant, clear, and concise notes. Ensure a complete end-to-end picture with the information gathered and stored for other users to understand the most recent status update.
  • Utilize FleetTrak to manage all cases and maintain escalation levels in line with company/departmental goals.
  • Take ownership of all status updates communicated to other areas of the company, ensuring the client is aware of the information.
  • Ensure that all internal communications regarding status information are relayed to the correct contact.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant field preferred
  • Additional education, certifications, or experience are a plus
  • Proficiency or ability to learn use of supply chain and logistics software, such as FleetTrack and Business Objects reporting tools
  • Familiarity with Holman systems is a plus
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years' experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields
  • Experience is vehicle fleet management or a similar industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
  • Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software may be required
  • Reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $22.32 - $30.14 USD per hour.
