Job Overview:
Arm has a great opportunity for a Staff Signal and Power Integrity Engineer in our System-in-Package Integration team! You will work closely with IP, SoC Design, Package Design, Signal Integrity and Systems teams throughout the company as well was interact with leading worldwide technology partners.
As we develop new system-level solutions for our world-class Arm IP ecosystems, signal and power integrity is an increasing challenge. This requires a passionate engineering focus to prepare Arm and our partners for how to best address these challenges. This opportunity will focus on active and passive power delivery enhancements and signal routing strategies for high performance in the leading packaging technologies and semiconductor processes.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with design teams, and package teams to provide guidance on active and passive power integrity solutions to reduce IR drop and SSO noise
• Guide the package and PCB design teams to account for signal integrity considerations.
• Interact with external partners to provide guidance on optimum signal and power delivery network management. These partners span the globe so there may be need for occasional time zone accommodation.
• Develop power delivery network solutions for infrastructure-level, automotive and battery-powered systems
• Perform signal and power integrity simulation and interpret results for internal or external stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, with a strong computer architecture, signal and power integrity background
• Significant experience in performance modeling and analysis of SoC systems with emphasis on signal and power integrity.
• Have deep understanding of multi-port matrixes (S, Y, Z parameters)
• Possess good understanding of electromagnetic extraction methodologies and limitations
• Proficiency in signal and power integrity analysis tools like HSPICE, HFSS, SI-Wave, PowerSI, and Clarity
"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:
• Experience in voltage regulator design and operation
• Ability to navigate package and PCB designs
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative and open to engaging and learning new concepts and sharing with collaborators.
Salary Range:
From: $195,542
To: $264,557
