Sr. Systems Engineer - Atmospheric Systems

Brooks is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (Atmospheric Systems) as we accelerate our growth journey. This will be a Hybrid role based out of our Fremont, CA, office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Designs, defines and implements complex system requirements for customers and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems.
  • Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system.
  • Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.
  • Serves as the primary technical resource for design, manufacture and debug as the product(s) move to completion.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience OR a Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience developing and delivering Semiconductor Capital Equipment to Tier 1 OEMs.
  • Demonstrated hands on systems engineering experience (design, troubleshooting, test, analysis, etc.).
  • Design of Experiments and Lab Skills.
  • Knowledge of Reliability and/or Statistical Analysis.
  • Knowledge of V-model representation of a system development life cycle.
  • Working knowledge of Lab Equipment (o-scope, spectrum analyzer, data logger, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Creo CAD system and Agile is a plus.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $173,699.90 USD to $210,268.30 USD

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
