What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to meet production goals
  • Enhance operational efficiency and product quality through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Reporting to the Director of Site Manufacturing, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team consisting of four (4) Business Unit Leaders, two (2) Shift Managers, two (2) Reliability Leaders, twelve (12) Teams Leaders (Production Supervisors, as well as indirectly managing ~500 hourly associates covering three shifts that operate 24/7 during peak demand season
  • Promote and direct TPM, DDS (Daily Direction Setting), and all WHQ and Plant initiatives and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, health, and environmental regulations
  • Manage budgets and forecast production needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with overall company objectives
  • Monitor and analyze operations metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement

What you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, specifically in the food/beverage production or CPG industry
  • 3+ years of Operations Manager or Assistant Plant Manager experience (having production managers as direct reports), plus experience overseeing a workforce of 200+ employees
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and leading teams to achieve production goals
  • A solid understanding of food processing and sanitation
  • Strong demonstrated results using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with quality management systems
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills
