Provides legal advice on securities, corporate governance, and corporate law matters, with a focus on securities law reporting, compliance, and stock exchange listing standards

Essential Functions

  • Provides legal advice on securities, corporate governance, and corporate law matters, with a focus on securities law reporting, compliance, and stock exchange listing standards
  • Provides legal support in financing and capital markets transactions.
  • Writes, reviews, and advises on legal contracts and agreements.
  • Represents the organization in legal matters.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • At least three (3) years of broad securities and corporate law practice, with a strong background in Securities Exchange Act of 1934 reporting, corporate governance, and stock exchange listing standard compliance.

  • Experience in corporate finance and corporate compliance helpful.

  • Law firm or corporate legal department experience.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Ability to understand and resolve complex legal issues and respond quickly to clients and third parties.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong initiative; ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in ESG reporting and reporting standards.


Minimum Education

Juris Doctorate Degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and admission to the bar.

Minimum Experience

Eight (8) years' experience as an attorney with at least three (3) years' experience in securities law compliance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Superior academic record. Excellent research and writing skills. Strong negotiation, human relations, and communications skills.
