The Sr. Analyst of Corporate Development and Market Intelligence will play a key role in supporting Vertiv's strategic growth initiatives by assisting in M&A strategy, priorities, opportunity evaluation, and coordination. This position will be based at our corporate global headquarters in Westerville, Ohio. This role will report to the Director of Corporate Development & Market Intelligence.
This position is located in Westerville, Ohio at our Global HQ's.
RESPONSIBILITIES

M&A Strategy and Priorities:
- Assist in developing and implementing M&A strategies aligned with Vertiv's corporate objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, assessing strategic fit, financial viability, and potential synergies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and pursue M&A initiatives.

Opportunity Evaluation
- Conduct detailed research and analysis on potential targets, including financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive assessments.
- Develop and maintain financial models, perform data analysis, and create reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal teams.

Coordination and Project Management
- Assist in managing early-stage M&A, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Coordinate early-stage evaluation and due diligence activities.
- Develop and maintain project timelines and M&A dashboards

Market Intelligence and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the data center and critical infrastructure industries.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence reports, providing insights to support strategic business decisions.
Key Capabilities: - Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify key trends, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Financial & Market Modeling Expertise: Proficiency in creating and maintaining financial & market models, including valuation analysis, and market projections
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to executive audiences.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively across functions and levels, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, identifying opportunities and risks, and developing recommendations to drive business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree: In a field such as economics, business administration, statistics, computer science, or a closely related field.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate development, consulting, management consulting or corporate strategy
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, and other relevant software tools.
Preferred Skills: - Advanced Degrees: master's degree in a related field or an MBA.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the data center and critical infrastructure industrial manufacturing sector.
