Job Title: Software Engineer (Contingent Resource)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource role, you will:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to software engineering projects.
• Review and analyze software engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Collaborate with client personnel to resolve moderately complex issues and meet deliverables.
• Leverage a solid understanding of software engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
• Strong technical skills with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience with cloud platforms (PCF and/or Azure Public).
• Proficiency in .NET (C#) and SQL Server.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with .NET Core.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• 6+ years of .NET experience (C#).
• 4+ years of SQL experience.
• 1+ year of .NET microservices experience.
• 3+ years of Agile experience.
• 2+ years of .NET Core experience.
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful or SOAP web services.
• 2+ years of web client-side development using Angular.
• Experience deploying applications in a PCF environment.
• Work experience in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS, primarily SQL Server.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
