ABOUT THE ROLE

REPAY is looking for a Software Architect to play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of software architecture, system integration, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions that meet business needs and align with the company's technology stack.

• Lead and guide development teams through the implementation of architectural solutions.

• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the solutions.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into architectural strategies.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.

• Create and maintain architectural documentation and guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.

• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, .Net C#, and React. Deep knowledge in these is not required but is a plus.

• Strong AWS knowledge and experience.

• Proficiency in MySQL database management and optimization.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with payment processing systems.

• Experience in the mortgage business or financial services industry.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of frontend and backend integration.
