We are seeking licensed clinical counselors and social workers (LPCC or LISW) to join our rapid, short-term outpatient therapy team. This is an exciting opportunity to implement innovative approaches to treatment for children and adolescents with mental health concerns, with a primary focus on anxiety, within a prestigious institution known for its excellence in pediatric care.

Position Highlights
  • Direct Patient Care: Conduct 45-minute sessions twice weekly for approximately five weeks per case.
  • Collaborative Environment: Weekly consultations with other mental health providers.
  • Lower Caseloads: Frequent visits and scheduled consultation time allow for deeper connections with families and ongoing professional development.
  • Advanced Training: Strengthen your skills in risk assessment, safety planning, and the application of EBT for complex mental health symptoms.
  • Dedicated Support: Access to a dedicated care coordinator for out-of-session needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Psychosocial Assessment: Perform comprehensive assessments considering family, social, and medical history, with a focus on anxiety-related concerns.
  • Resource Support: Collaborate with healthcare teams and families to identify and provide appropriate resources.
  • Psychosocial Interventions: Deliver evidence-based treatment, education, and crisis interventions, primarily targeting anxiety but adaptable to other mental health concerns.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Advocate for patient needs, facilitate communication, and promote patient/family well-being.
Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Master's Degree in a clinical counseling program with LPCC licensure or Master's Degree in Social Work with LISW licensure.
    • 2-5 years of professional experience with training in brief, evidence-based treatments and crisis intervention.
    • Lifelong learner dedicated to continuing education and training.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with youth and families for a range of mental health concerns, particularly anxiety.
