The Site Manager, Megasys role is an on-site position located in Freemont, CA

Your Role:

Site Manager position with the primary responsibly for the overall direction and leadership of the on-site Megasys® operation team. This includes ensuring the customer scope of service is properly supported and resourced to attain a safe operation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The site manager will be the primary customer interface for site wide operational issues. Direct interface with customer includes ensuring operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Collaboration with other Megasys® sites include off site meeting and occasional travel for training or strategic meetings.

The Site Manager will help develop and drive site goals and objectives, develop a team of managers, and improve overall site safety and quality performance by focusing on a set of department issues. The Site Manager will maintain and foster customer relationships by daily communication, anticipating/meeting customer needs, and delivering on commitments. This position will require interfacing with a large contingent of internal and external departments that include, but are not limited to, Site Operation Departments, EH&S, Human Resources, Engineering (projects) and Sales.

This position is directly responsible for a multi-functional operation and requires a comprehensive understanding of gas and chemical delivery systems for the purpose of technical communications with the customer and other supporting departments within the organization. Other responsibilities of the Site Manager will include overseeing various aspects of the operations that include, but are not limited to, process safety management, system design and modification, factory innovation engineering support, and various continuous improvement activities.

Some administrative duties will include employee development and reviews, technical writing and reporting, key performance analysis, process safety reporting, site level management of change (MOC) review/approval, as well as in-house quality system management and audits.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Establish and set cascade for overall site operations goals and objectives.
  • Acts as primary interface between customer and EMD Electronics for all site wide business issues.
  • Responsible and accountable for the safe operation at the customer site.
  • Responsible and accountable for the execution of an operational excellence business model.
  • Accountable for appropriate staffing levels, training, and support of site activities.
  • Supports operations manager in prioritization of resources and site initiatives that align with organizational and customer goals.
  • Supports Megasys® and customer base during excursions, post event Root Cause Analysis, etc.
  • Responsible for the development of the site operation and leadership team.
  • Develops and monitors key performance indicators across the site.
  • Negotiate any changes to the TCGM operating agreement, including operational changes, modifications to scope of work, and fees for service.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in related technical field. Related work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 6 + years of progressive responsible related experience in operations technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and foster team collaboration.
  • Experienced in continuous improvement principles (ex. 6S, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional ethical standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage by fact.
  • Highly motivated and responsive to employee and customer needs
  • Ability to work and prioritize tasks with multiple groups within the organization.
  • Adaptable to quick change and remains constructive under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen to include profitability and budgets / cost control.

Pay Range for this position - $73,000 - $219,000.

Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role and are derived from relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
