Summary of Role:

Provide operational support of front-end wafer fab factory applications.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide operational support of front-end wafer fab factory applications. Plan and perform application installation during scheduled downtimes and during normal operations without downtime or Production impact. Participate in different phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), such as planning and analysis, testing, deployment, and maintenance of systems without impact to factory operations. Maximize the availability of production software systems and applications like Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Process Control (APC), Recipe Management (RMS), Manufacturing Specification Management, User Interfaces (GUI), Databases, Business Process Management, Dispatch, Scheduling, and Reporting Systems. Create alerts, guides and scripts to drive improvements in Time To Detect and Time To Resolve. Implement application and system monitoring using Splunk. Resolve latency or performance issues revealed by system monitoring or end-users. Incident Management: Perform per agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with Operations, IT, and internal and external software suppliers. Problem Management: Drive post-mortem and RCA processes after Major Incidents to ensure root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Utilize automation tools to eliminate toil, respond to incidents, and improve KPI such as mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolve (MTTR). Keep Knowledge Base up to date regarding system architecture, maintenance guides, TSGs, CAGs, scripts, etc. Assess and drive capacity planning in consideration of factory ramp schedules. Identify opportunities to implement CI/CD pipelines. Provide guidance to the application development teams through execution to modernize their applications including coaching and helping them to upskill.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education - Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, CIS, Engineering, or a related field of study.

• Experience - 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as Software Engineer or related role. 2 years of experience must include: 1. Executing Linux commands and writing shell

scripts to respond to incidents and improve KPIs, 2. Running JBOSS on Linux or Windows Server, 3. Functional and integration testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), 4. Experience with one of the Programming languages (Java/.Net/C/C++), 5. Working with Oracle Database and executing SQL queries, 6. Experience in Troubleshooting and analytical and problem-solving skills (8D, 5-WHY Analysis), 7. Experience working with SQLDeveloper or TOAD, 8. Performing application upgrades and deploying patches in production environment, 9. Experience in web technologies such as XML, XSLT, DOM, HTML, and other Web technologies.

Salary range: $95,574 - $112,000
