Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Social Media Manager to join their team. This hybrid role, based out of our client's New York City location, offers an exciting opportunity to shape and drive social media strategies for multiple clients within the rare disease and life science sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative social media strategies that align with client business objectives
- Plan, implement, and analyze social media programs across various platforms
- Create, curate, and manage all published content, including visually appealing graphics and layouts for social media posts
- Foster community engagement and audience interaction through active monitoring, listening, and responding to users
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and provide strategic guidance
- Manage a social media account executive, ensuring project deadlines are met and content is of high quality
- Track and analyze social media campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, platforms, and technologies
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the life sciences, pharma, or healthcare industries. They will possess a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, and demonstrate strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will also have strong copywriting skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging and understandable content. They will be familiar with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration guidelines for industry use of social media and demonstrate proficiency in setting, monitoring, and adjusting monthly budgets to keep projects on track financially.
We are looking for a creative and innovative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is highly organized and detail-oriented. Experience in managing and mentoring a team, as well as working with clients and providing strategic guidance, is essential.
