What you'll do:

• Mentor and coach operations personnel and process engineers
• Lead area process engineering efforts, prioritizing tasks and ensuring self-verification
• Uphold standard methodologies and raise concerns about high-risk areas for long-term reliability
• Provide troubleshooting expertise and support efficient operations
• Optimize variable costs through proactive energy management
• Evaluate and recommend catalyst options
• Participate in HazOps, LOPAs, and Incident Investigations
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Conduct plant tests and maintain accurate models
• Support innovation and growth projects
• Provide technical input for Capital Projects
• Ensure compliance with Control of Work and Process Safety policies

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required
• Minimum 7 years experience in refining or similar industries such as chemical, manufacturing, or nuclear required
• Refinery experience preferred
