Position: Senior Data Scientist
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Partner with the cross functional Walmart sales and marketing teams for the development, execution, and delivery of short and long-term ads measurement to influence sales/marketing strategies and business development opportunities to streamline data science solutions in marketing analytics including marketing mix model, multi-touch attribution, uplift model, and A/B testing. Build automated Data ETL pipelines in Airflow reducing turnaround time with strategic thinking and supporting innovation. Design and automate integrated actionable insights to senior leadership around digital marketing simulation and optimization to improve marketing campaign performance KPIs including RoAS and incremental sales. Foster strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners and work collaboratively to achieve objectives and communicate with a range of audiences. Integrate disparate data sources and run complex analytical processes using SQL, Python, and R and in visualization (Tableau) to develop and maintain critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) dashboards, track business performance, and drive data research and insights visualization improvements.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 1 year of experience in an analytics related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience in an analytics related field.
Skills required: Experience coding for data analysis, data research, and data pipeline building. Experience with Tableau dashboard building using Python, R, SQL, and GCP BQ. Experience working with SQL to extract data and prepare reports with Tableau. Experience translating abstract business issues and data into actionable analysis. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to guide data collection and analysis methods. Experience preparing and delivering statistics-related presentations and reports to technical and business audiences. Experience with advertising, measurement, or digital marketing analytics. Experience with advertising technology platforms Ad servers, DSPs, and DMPs. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $142,243/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
