You'll make an impact by:
- Managing response to a high volume of subpoenas and other formal and informal requests for data in the custody and control of Walmart. Responsibilities include frequent meet and confer meetings and negotiations of subpoena scope and ESI protocols with requesting parties.
- Managing payment holds and responses to vendor garnishments, UCC liens, levies, and other similar third-party payment issues.
- Providing legal counsel regarding responses to wage garnishments, pharmacy records requests, and other similar third-party matters.
- Collaborating with the Global Investigations & Litigation Division Team to help identify and execute improvements in strategy and workflow for team of 9-10 discovery analysts and project managers.
You'll sweep us off our feet if...
- You have substantial legal experience, preferably civil and/or criminal litigation experience
- You have a proven track record of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
- You have a solid understanding of best practices in the areas of 26(f) preparation, case scoping and early case assessment (ECA) processes, review strategies (including advanced analytics like TAR), privilege and confidentiality considerations, and global privacy considerations as they relate to eDiscovery workflows
- You are familiar with and have a track record in dealing with FRCP 45 and state equivalents
- You are proficient with the functionality and practical application of industry standard eDiscovery tools (e.g. EnCase, Nuix, Relativity, Brainspace, Logikcull)
- You possess any of the following certifications: Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS) Certification, Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification
- You have extensive regulatory experience at a State or Federal level

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
