Responsibilities:

• 5+ years Senior/Staff-Accountant experience or relevant work experience
• Experience using QuickBooks 17.0 is required
• Experience with sales and use tax filings
• Experience with fixed assets
• Generates invoices (both sale order invoice and final invoice)
• Responds to customer inquiries and requests in relation to their invoices
• Opens and receives customer payments. Posts to customer open invoices/sales receipts in QuickBooks
• Assists in the processing of credit card payments
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
• Assist in preparing daily deposit
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries
• Assist in generating age analysis
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist in preparing Collection Report
• Assists in maintaining Accounts Payable customer files and records
• Assists in maintaining Accounts Receivables open and paid files. Coordinates year-end file archiving
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
• Experience with preparing and reviewing Sales tax returns
• Revenue recognition analysis
• Progress billings
• Cash applications
• Ensures the security, integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
