Shift Schedule:

We are hiring for 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm). This position is over-time eligible with weekend work expected based on inbound tanker and fruit delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Scale House Attendant to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company's goals and initiatives are met.

This role will be responsible for data entry and administrative report management, while coordinating the unloading of approximately 300 fruit trucks per day during the fruit season. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, reporting and administrative skills, and influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the unloading of approximately 300 fruit trucks per day during fruit season
• Coordinate the weighing of full tanker trucks and provide directions to delivery points in the plant (100+ tankers per day)
• Coordinate the weighing of empty juice tankers and feed trucks coming into the plant to pick up products (30 to 60 per day with department-produced bill of lading)
• Coordinate the weighing and transfer of incoming supplies and scrap metal as well as in-plant transfers
• Other assigned duties such as reporting, coordination of documentation, verifications of scale accuracy and coordination with the State Lab and other department

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year computer experience in a business environment
• Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
• Must have the ability to become licensed and bonded by the State of Florida
• Must be able to learn and manage various systems such as Automatic Data Collection (ADC), Bin Automation, SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• SAP experience is preferred
• Must possess basic analytical skills, good skills in computers, math and prioritizing and oral and written communication skills
• Must also have excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work off-shifts, weekends and overtime
