Responsibilities:

• Offer comprehensive administrative assistance to two internal sales representatives.
• Aid in preparing shipment price quotes, setting up customer accounts, and handling various tasks assigned by sales representatives.
• Contribute to promotional efforts and marketing strategies aimed at expanding market share.
• Assist in creating and refining marketing and sales materials.
• Generate and provide sales forecast data and actual performance insights to Branch management as required.
• Utilize customer and prospect contact management systems, updating relevant information and activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with logistics principles, including contract management and tariff applications- Huge plus.
• Strong skills in quantitative analysis and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
• Prior experience in logistics is preferred
• Solid understanding of logistics planning and analysis.
• Preferred knowledge of international trade practices, including sales terms, payment methods, and customs regulations.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
• Demonstrates high personal accountability.

Additional Information:

• Compensation: $20-23/hr, based on industry experience.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Location: Fully in-office position in Inver Grove Heights
• Promote up to a sales position!
