Description: Our client is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Sr
Must-Haves for the Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior role:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience: A bachelor's degree is required, but 9 years of relevant experience can substitute for this requirement. High School is a MUST!
- Minimum 5 years of relevant revenue cycle experience: Experience in the revenue cycle, including systems like billing, patient accounting, scheduling, or coding, is essential.
- Expertise in Soarian and HL7 interface troubleshooting: Senior-level proficiency with Soarian and experience troubleshooting HL7 interfaces is mandatory.
- Strong technical skills in revenue cycle applications: Familiarity with applications like PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, GE Centricity, and PatientKeeper is required.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to conduct need-gap analysis, design system solutions, and analyze workflows to improve productivity and system efficiency.
- Project management experience: Experience in leading or participating in projects, managing timelines, milestones, and ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of solutions.
- Customer service skills: Proven ability to handle service requests, resolve problems, and communicate effectively with internal users, vendors, and peers in a professional and timely manner.
- Data integrity and security management: Experience in managing system security, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining software upgrades and implementations.
- Report generation and analytics skills: Ability to create and maintain both standard and custom reports, utilizing technologies like IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner Command Language (CCL), and Siemens MedSeries 4.
- Strong organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and manage multiple activities efficiently.
- On-call availability: Willingness to fulfill on-call duties as required.
Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior will work with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and Keck Medicine leadership to design, develop, implement and make operational revenue cycle information systems including but not limited to Soarian, PBAR, Siemens MedSeries 4, Cerner, Change Healthcare, nThrive (MedAssets) Suite, Relay Assurance Plus, Visiquate, GE Centricity, PatientKeeper and others. This incumbent will identify and document information technology design specifications based on analysis/assessment of user needs and generate need-gap analyses. This person will use expert knowledge to generate and develop system scope and objective, analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and devise or modify procedures to solve problems Using data processing.
