Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Coach in the OTPprogram at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Opioid Treatment Program with the following:

  • Helping expecting moms with problems with substance use with finding their own unique pathways to recovery.
  • Working with recoverees in Hampden County communities through using their lived experience and Recovery Coach training.
  • Mentoring and empowering their peers to be in the 'driver seat' of their lives.
  • Completing Recovery Coach trainings and supervision with BHN to become certified in Recovery Coaching.

Who are we?

The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) at Behavioral Health Network is a Medication Assisted Treatment Program to assist individuals who are opiate addicted and are experiencing the dysfunctional effects of its use to gain and maintain the skills needed to achieve an opiate-free lifestyle and to improve functioning. BHN's PPW OTP uses medication protocols approved by the Medical Director to ensure patients safely detox from these substances. These protocols are evidenced based and are implemented through assessment and re-assessment practices throughout the process.

What are we looking for in a Recovery Coach?
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (strongly preferred).
  • Prior completion of the Recovery Coach Academy (strongly preferred).
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with substance use recovery support services.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • Enrollment in or completion of a CADAC program (preferred).
  • Professional demeanor in communicating with recoverees and care team members.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car for work purposes (required).
  • Experience with Expecting Mothers in Recovery (required)
