Job Description

Senior Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Leading direct reports, group leaders, managers and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities

• Lead recruiting and retention efforts along with site leadership

• Monthly meetings with each direct report, the Eurofins department, and client managers
• Disseminate administrative communications
• Leads special projects, organizing technical resources and staff to accomplish within given deadlines
• Demonstrate and promote the company vision by leading companywide initiatives
• Drives programs independently and build relationships with partners at all levels of the organization, and externally.
• Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
• Lead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environment
• Organize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlines
• Assist Director with business operations as needed
• Stays current in science and technology and consults knowledgeably with clients
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Focus on solutions oriented management
• Scientific background with hands on laboratory experience
• A good understanding of day to day business operations
• Demonstrated strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Strong leadership, initiative, and teambuilding skills and experience

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or other related field
• 10+ years of hands on related experience
• At least 5 years in a leadership role
• Business Management education or experience preferred
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, INare encouraged to apply.
