Education: Required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Required - 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on healthcare software. Proficiency in PointClickCare and/or other cloud-based healthcare platforms. Strong knowledge of software development languages and frameworks such as Java, C#, .NET, and JavaScript. Experience with REST API, SQL, and other relevant technologies.

The PointClickCare Developer/Cloud-Based Healthcare Software Developer will be responsible for the development, configuration, and maintenance of our healthcare software solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring that our software systems meet the needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Critical Action Items:

1. Design, develop, and maintain PointClickCare and other cloud-based healthcare software solutions.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
3. Create and customize forms, workflows, and interfaces in PointClickCare.
4. Ensure the software environment is secure, efficient, and reliable.
5. Integrate healthcare software with other systems and applications as needed.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare technology trends, technologies, and best practices.
8. Provide training and support to end-users.
9. Document processes, configurations, and changes to the software environment.

Requirements:
1. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, network administration, and cybersecurity.
2. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
2. Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards.
3. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare security best practices.
4. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
