Shift Details: Monday - Friday 7 am- 5:30 pm until completion

Key Responsibilities

  • Modeling and maintaining a culture of safety.
  • Team building and engagement activities aligning with Employee Opinion Surveys.
  • SAP trained and knowledge on basic navigation.
  • Review and process all clinical trials orders.
  • Ability to work various shifts based on staffing and DC business needs.
  • Must be able to operate Power Industrial Equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certifications (i.e., Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack)
  • Maintain training records
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internal McKesson software.
  • Actively participates in shift start meetings, lead meetings, department meetings and all other team meetings.
  • Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary
  • Pulls and fills orders
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
  • Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
  • Makes timely and effective decisions based on objectives and goals.
  • Address issues effectively and immediately and do not avoid them as they arise.
  • Reinforce leadership team's mission and objectives when out on the floor.
  • Reporting of daily task completions to leaders via email or conversation.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements
  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience

Critical Skills:
  • Candidate must be able to learn and perform outbound and inbound functions in which they are not already proficient.
  • Critical thinking skills - root cause analysis
  • Basic Math - add/subtract/multiply/divide
  • Good Communication skills: Speak with individuals and groups to explain processes and train employees in accordance with SOP's, communicate with Supervisors on employee progress
  • PC use - basic data entry, Excel, Word, Outlook

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of overall work experience; direct experience in a warehouse / distribution center environment is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and exposure to internal McKesson platforms specifically used for this position
  • Ability to coach, train, explain processes, and mentor team members
  • Passion, positivity, ownership, and commitment to the success of yourself and team members
  • Must demonstrate good time-management and organization
  • Must demonstrate solid execution and follow-through even under pressure
  • Autonomous with the ability to network and find answers to resolve problems
  • Good critical thinking skills with the ability to see the "big picture"
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Must be able to demonstrate and coach good I2CARE and ILEAD principles
  • Must be able to deliver consistently on daily/weekly/monthly goals
  • 6+ months of experience utilizing Power Industrial equipment with the ability to maintain appropriate certifications is strongly preferred (However, training will be provided to those willing to learn and must be able to maintain certification)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems, SAP and other software is preferred
  • Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
  • High performer who has the desire to advance their career
  • Other tasks may be assigned to improve and maintain the proper training and support of the DC

Working Conditions:
  • Primary work environment will be in warehouse setting however will be required to work in all areas of the business including office.
  • Some areas are temperature controlled and/or present exposure to bio-hazardous materials.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis (8 hour shift plus overtime if necessary); ability to lift and carry from 50 to 75 lbs for short distances
  • Able to stay on feet for long period of time
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods of time (8 hour shift plus overtime if necessary)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Execute quality improvement
  • Ability to lift 20-40 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)
  • May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.63 - $29.39
