Location: Montville, NJ
Description: Our client is currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians for their fulfillment center in Pine Brook, NJ

Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Retrieving medication from stock
  
• Counting and packaging orders for pharmacist review
  
• Maintaining work stations with adequate supplies
  
• Removing outdated products from shelves
  
• Assisting with inventory replenishment
  
• Maintaining par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items
  
• Occasionally reaching out to patients for customer service calls and inquiries on orders shipped
  

Schedule: This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday. Candidates must have flexibility to work an 8-hour shift schedule during normal business hours (6 am to 2:30 pm). Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary based on business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Processing and filling prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
  
• Packing and shipping completed prescription orders to patients
  
• Maintaining drug inventory and automated dispensing units
  
• Replenishing work station supplies for filling prescriptions (including vials, caps, labels, etc.)
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  
• Current state of New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License
  

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
  
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  
• Previous experience working in a mail order setting
  
• Competency in basic mathematical equations with different forms of measurements, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  
• Proficient computer and organizational skills with a focus on workload and achievement of both production and quality objectives
