The Pharmacy Practice Lab Coordinator provides administrative and technical support for the instructors teaching in the Pharmacy Practice Laboratory (PPL). Manages medication and lab supply inventory. Completes daily set-up of professional activities for teaching lab, supply management, coordination of grading, and management of teaching technology. Schedule, instruct, and assign work for teaching assistants. Represents the interests of the university and of unit leadership in the use of resources to meet service and productivity demands within unit goals and budgets; strive to promote continual process and quality improvement.
The Pharmacy Practice Lab Coordinator serves as a valued member of the Pharmacy Practice Lab team, working primarily to enhance the quality of education provided to students pursuing their Doctor of Pharmacy in the College of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Practice lab team consists of the Pharmacy Practice Lab Coordinator and three Clinical Track Faculty members. This team leads the delivery of the pharmacy practice course series, which consists of six practice-based courses that meet each week of the first three years of the doctorate of pharmacy education.
