Position Overview for the Payroll Specialist:
Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be involved in comprehensive payroll administration responsibilities, including managing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, auditing payroll records for accuracy, and addressing payroll-related inquiries. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.

Required Skills for the Payroll Specialist:

  • Experience in end-to-end payroll processing for both salaried and hourly employees, including
  • knowledge of payroll systems and tax compliance.
  • Ability to review, audit, and balance payroll entries, identify discrepancies, and resolve variances
effectively.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll laws, as well as expertise in handling wage
attachments such as child support, garnishments, and tax levies.
