Are you a budding patent attorney or a patent agent with a passion for intellectual property and looking for the right opportunity to develop your career? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and build your career at our vibrant Life Science business. Join our dynamic team and play an active role in patent portfolio management.

Your Role: In this role, you will have responsibility for drafting, filing, prosecuting, and defending patents, and playing a crucial part in the protection of our innovative technologies and products. A key responsibility will be collaborating with colleagues across different jurisdictions to prosecute patent cases and engaging with our R&D teams. Examples of our technical areas are wide ranging and include filtration and purification substrates, chemistry and devices, pharmaceutical excipients, and cell culture media. Your role will involve providing valuable counsel on IP matters, identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions to meet our company's business objectives.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant science, e.g., engineering, chemistry, biotechnology
• Registered to practice before the USPTO
• Minimum 1-3 years of patent law experience, in-house or in private practice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree and/or experience in research and development a plus
• Fluency in English required, German or other language skills advantageous
• Cognizant of managing risks
• Skilled at effective time management and meeting deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective oral and written communication skills
