Part Time Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounting experience and a strong dedication to accuracy in financial tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cash memos, preparing and maintaining balance sheets, and ensuring thorough financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Memos: Process and record cash memos accurately, ensuring all transactions are well-documented and reconciled.
• Balance Sheets: Prepare and maintain precise balance sheets, ensuring all accounts are balanced and promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Annual Reports: Assist in compiling annual financial reports, providing detailed and accurate information for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Audit Support: Facilitate and coordinate audit processes by ensuring that all necessary documentation and financial data are accurate and readily available.
• Depreciation: Calculate and record depreciation expenses, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accurate reflection of asset values.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and reviewing financial statements for accuracy.
