Part-Time Medical Records Coordinator - External Support
We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Records Coordinator with excellent verbal communication. The ideal candidate will have ZERO problem being on the phone most of the day, be relentless about following up on past due requests, and be creative in solving problems.
We are a plaintiff's personal injury firm that is experiencing explosive growth. We need an individual who is tech-savvy, learns quickly and a self-starter with a "Can-DO" attitude to help follow up on medical records and bills for our clients.
Skills and experience are important, but above all, we want someone who's going to fit the family atmosphere of our firm. That's a feeling that extends to both fellow employees and clients. If you're not ready to treat our clients like your own family members, don't apply.
1. Following up on requests as needed - heavy phone usage to clients
2. Problem solve to understand why there may be delays in records
3. Utilize a solution-oriented mindset
4. Adhere to legal requirements for medical records management
5. Familiarity with HIPPA
