Surgical Services at Mass General Brigham Tuscan VillageOur Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center is a new, state-of-the-art facility located at 30 Tuscan Boulevard in Salem, NH. The three-floor building has total of 62,000 square feet with a four-suite ambulatory surgery center, a 31-exam room multispecialty clinic space, and comprehensive imaging services.

The OpportunityWe are thrilled to announce that our department is growing! We will have new surgeons coming on board to expand our ambulatory surgical services even further. To support the goal of our OR completing about 50 cases per week, we are currently hiring a full-time, 40-hour Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (PACU RN) to work onsite Monday through Friday between 6:30am and 4:30pm (shifts are staggered).
Our OR RNs play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients during surgical procedures. They partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgical techs, and other staff members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Include:
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to compose and implement effective care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain thorough records
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients during their recovery

The Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACUWhy This Role Is ImportantThe Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care in the PACU. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost effective patient care.
Qualifications Skills- Required: To perform this job successfully within the scope of nursing, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to demonstrate any knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients serviced in his/her assigned department. Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications
Experience
- Required: Minimum 3 years PACU experience
- Preferred: Critical care and/or specialty experience
Education/Degree- Required: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing is required with a Bachelor's Degree
Licensure, Certifications, or Registration- Required: Position requires a Valid/Current license to practice as an RN, ACLS and PALS required.
