RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operations Specialist in Saint Louis, MO.Responsibilities:- Operations Specialist will handle mundane reports, operations, account opening, and money movement
- Collaborate with financial advisors on various aspects of the firm
- Review and process checks, ensuring accuracy
- Perform day-to-day operations, including reviewing and resolving issues
- Work on training-related tasks, primarily focusing on opening and processing queues
- Non-client facing role with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency
- Active involvement in operations, including account opening, trading-related tasks, and money movement
- Continuous collaboration with financial advisors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
- Growth-oriented company with rapid expansion plans
- Company is building a strong, collaborative culture
- In-office role in Clayton after relocation with flexibility
- Preferred schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with systems such as Fidelity Wellsgate, Moneta Group, Fidelity Welscape, and familiarity with broker-dealer operations
- Knowledge of brokerage operations; No banking experience required
- Familiarity with system checks, ready-to-deposit check processes, and monthly reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially Excel and email systems
- Willingness to handle routine tasks, ensuring steady and consistent workflow
- Ability to handle mundane reports and excel in a detail-oriented role
- Strong problem-solving skills in a non-client facing capacity
- Familiarity with wire transfers and electronic funds
- Broker-dealer experience
- Understanding of the distinction between banking and brokerage operations
- Exposure to summer analyst roles or advisory services
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
