Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Project Manager with a background in employee health and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of projects, ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively. Key projects may include but are not limited to, new acquisitions, system conversions, departmental engagement on specific projects, real estate initiatives, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish deliverables.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations for stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries and communications.
Data Management and Reporting:
  • Track project progress, manage resources, and analyze data utilizing tools such as Excel and SmartSheet.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations using Word, PowerPoint, and other tools to communicate project outcomes and insights.
Scheduling and Task Management:
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes in scope or timelines.
  • Coordinate meeting scheduling for projects.

Qualifications:
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within the employee health and benefits sector.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SmartSheet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Location and Travel:
  • This Project Manager position offers flexibility, as it does not require a specific MMA Southwest location. The role will necessitate travel based on project requirements and acquisitions.
