Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Operations Assistant. - Davie, FL

Summary of responsibilities:

• Serves as the front-line customer service staff member at the Recreation and Fitness Center.
• Responsible for providing accurate information about our programs, services, and facilities.
• Educates patrons on policies and procedures, ensuring safe and proper use of fitness equipment.
• Helps Campus Recreation manage risk by providing a clean and safe environment to 13,000 square feet of fitness space
• Enforces facility access policies and ensuring patron compliance with rules and regulations.
• Creates positive, proactive engagement with every opportunity.

Minimum Qualifications:FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA.Salary:$13 per hour.College or Department:Division of Student Affairs: Campus RecreationLocation:DavieWork Days and Hours:Monday - Friday, 8am - 8pm 20 hours per week.Application Deadline: 2024-10-30Special Instructions to Applicant: This is a part time position.

OFFICIAL SEALED TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED:

Final candidate will be required to have official, sealed transcripts and original NACES evaluation, if applicable, sent from their educational institution to Human Resources prior to the start of employment.
