Job Description:
The State of Nebraska, Department of Health and Human Services is seeking an Office Technician for the Division of Children and Family Services.
This position assists with clerical duties, compiles and checks documents, records, and reports to confirm accuracy and completeness, monitors the status of information, processes requests or transactions, and provides the supervisor or other employees with information for making decisions for the Division of Children and Family Services.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5

Job Duties:
Provide variety of direct customer services and perform paraprofessional/clerical support work for the Protection and Safety Caseworkers. May include receiving clients, entering data, filing, document imaging, sorting, opening mail, completing forms, copying, searching records, answering multi-line phones and keyboarding. Enters, retrieves, and researches information using agency computer systems Operate various office equipment such as scanning equipment, multi-line telephones and computers. Schedules transports or arranges transports for clients. Provide information to clients and community members.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures, including the use of a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment.
