Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of
Senior IT Specialist our NYS Office for Mental Health Team located in Albany, NY.
Key Responsibilities: Consultant will work on equipment installation, relocation and removal. The consultant will be working on VOIP phones, WAPS, and data communications equipment for supporting the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH). Consultant will participate in the planning and execution of all phases of project including: request analysis, site surveys, site preparation, cable trouble-shooting and installation, asset management, inventory control, and network assistance.
Experience Required: 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
- 12 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting VOIP phones
- 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting data communications equipment
- 60 Months of Experience conducting technical site surveys
- 60 Months of Experience data cable installation/troubleshooting
Desired Qualifications:
- 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting PCs and Printers
- 60 Months of Experience installing/troubleshooting servers
- 36 Months of Experience conducting inventory control
- 36 Months of Experience in desktop support
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $49.00 and $59.00
