We are hiring for a new North America Fleet Specialist that will oversee all aspects of vehicle management, including acquisition, maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, industry knowledge, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.

This role can be based anywhere a GHD office is in either the U.S or Canada.
Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations Management:
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposition of fleet vehicles.
- Develop strategies for optimal fleet utilization to meet operational demands.

Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and OSHA standards.
- Ensure adherence to CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle), IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement), IRP (International Registration Plan)
- Implement and maintain protocols and training programs for fleet drivers.

Cost Management:
- Monitor and control fleet expenses, including fuel, repairs, and insurance.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.

Technology & Reporting:
- Track vehicle performance and maintenance schedules.
- Generate and analyze reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Collaboration:
- Liaison with vehicle drivers in each office
- Collaborate with other departments to align fleet operations with company goals.
Qualifications: -
Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related role.
- Proven track record of managing large vehicle fleets.

Skills:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication abilities.
