Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Iselin, NJ

Job Description: As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in the coordination, installation, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure. This role focuses on supporting our Data Center transitions into a new operating model. You will provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot network and system applications, and integrate, consolidate, and maintain network services across routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices. You will also coordinate, design, implement, and validate network solutions in accordance with our latest architectural standards and best practices. Internet designs and migrations must be executed during approved change windows (non-business hours).

Responsibilities:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Network Engineering.
• Review and analyze network engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of network engineering issues and collaborate with client personnel.
• Leverage a solid understanding of network engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs.
• 3+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching platforms, specifically Cisco Nexus and/or Arista.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification in Datacenter.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or 3+ years of networking experience.
• Demonstrated skill in creating and updating technical design documentation.
• Experience working in a Product/Agile environment using Atlassian Jira.
• Familiarity with Change control processes, specifically Service Now.
• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio Professional.
• Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
• Scripting experience with YAML, Python, Ansible, and GITHUB.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a high-volume hosting environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate, document, and drive flawless execution.
