About the Role

Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time hourly Member Associate II to work in-person out of our East Bremerton, WA location. This position is responsible for assisting members with financial transactions and new accounts as well as offering and demonstrating all-digital, remote, and self-serve options.

Reports to: Branch Manager

Employment Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt, in-person

Salary Range: $19.61 - $24.15 hr depending on experience

Bonus Target: 5% potential incentive of base pay

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 9AM - 5PM, Friday 9AM - 6PM, & Saturday 9AM - 1PM

Grade: 5BC

What you will do

  • Assist members with their financial needs, new accounts, and transactions. Identify, develop, and close business relationships to build market position
  • Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services, self-service, and assisted self-serve options
  • Understand and recommend products and services based on the member's need
  • Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals
  • Complete all documentation and forms accurately and efficiently according to policies, procedures, and regulations

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience at a bank or credit union
  • Cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and extended business hours
  • Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) within 30 days of assuming level III of the Member Associate role and comply with the SAFE Act regulations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lending experience
