Hadley Family Medicine

Hadley Family Medicine began with family - brothers Peter and Robert Weitzman (both physicians) along with medical school classmate Allan Baustin, MD, founded the practice nearly 30 years ago. While the practice now has access to the resources of the larger Medical Group, the family environment is felt just as strongly today. Located at 234 Russell Street, Suite 7, in Hadley, MA, our Family Medicine practice offers comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, newborn through adult. We are certified as a Level 2 patient-centered medical home.

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 9:00am to 5:30pm. As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the collaborative team. The vision is for our Medical Assistants to work 1 to 1 with their assigned provider while having the ability to rotate or cross cover occasionally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
  • Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, point of care testing, immunizations, procedures, and treatments as directed)
  • Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management (phone calls, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
  • Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
  • Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.
What Matters to Us

We are constantly aiming to improve access for patients and to meet the evolving health care needs of the communities we serve. Primary care is all about relationship-building! We pride ourselves on our compassionate, family-focused approach. We really get to know our patients to ensure that they are receiving exceptional, personalized care in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere (with a bright, colorful children's waiting area!).

Are you ready to bring your talent to this practice and join us in moving health care forward?
