Manager, Relationship Management
Location: San Francisco, California (Hybrid)
We're currently setting up a new office in San Francisco, California and initially, this role will be home-based. When our new office has opened, you'll transition to be based in the office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Computershare has a tremendous opportunity as a Manager of the Relationship Management team. Based in the West Coast you will be responsible for a team across the US working to secure client retention and help to grow the business.
A role you will love
The Manager, Relationship Management is responsible for providing leadership to a team of Relationship Managers in the San Francisco Bay area. Primary responsibilities include giving consultation, direction, guidance and feedback to direct reports on their performance relative to the objectives that have been set for them. The Manager is a facilitator who ensures that the Relationship Managers have the resources they need to achieve their goals for client satisfaction, retention and profitability.
- Ensures that the business unit's relationship strategy is executed effectively by the team.
- Manages a staff of Relationship Managers and makes decisions regarding employment, work allocation, goal setting, performance management, professional development, and expense control.
- Directly supervises a team of RMs in the Client Relations Department.
- Ensures that revenue and expense goals are achieved.
- Guides the Relationship Managers in realizing their up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Negotiates the terms of contract renewals, consulting with business units such as Finance, Legal, and Sales throughout the process.
- Assists in the collection of critically delinquent receivables.
- Oversees development of strategic account plans for top client relationships
- Ensures that sensitive client issues are resolved effectively.
- Coaches and mentors, the Relationship Managers for career development.
- Travel required: 15%.
What will you bring to the role? - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
- Significant experience in a relationship management role.
- Proven success in giving consultation, direction, guidance and feedback to direct reports on their performance relative to the objectives that have been set
- Computer Skills: MS Office, SCRIP, Cosmos, Issuer Online, Investor Center

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. This range reflects our good faith effort to pay fairly based on our job evaluation of this role and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
