What you'll do:

• Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, machinists, millwrights, and machine operators. Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Safety and Efficiency: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Respond to breakdowns promptly, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions, and perform timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document standard work and best practices, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, and prepare reports on maintenance performance, including downtime, repair costs, and equipment reliability.
• Teamwork and Process Improvement: Work in partnership with production and management team members to identify and address equipment issues and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of technological advancements and industry trends in maintenance practices.

What you need:

• Associate degree from a technical trade school or a High School diploma or GED and 5 years or more years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and machine operating equipment and systems.
• Ability to operate in a lean manufacturing environment utilizing 5S and other continuous improvement tools.
• Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and related programming software.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to recognize the layout and specifications of electrical systems.
• Identify components, wiring configurations, and connections as depicted in technical drawings.
• Translate complex technical information into actionable tasks for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
